> Confidential employee wellness portal — voluntary, non-diagnostic, aggregate facility insight only.

# Officer & Staff Wellness

Veridian Motion includes a **separate confidential officer / staff wellness
portal** that extends a movement-based, clinician-informed approach to
**correctional employee** wellness — injury prevention, movement and mobility,
shift recovery, and general **stress-resilience** self-help content.

Participants use the `wellness_participant` role. This is **employee wellness**,
not patient care.

<Warning>
  Governed by **employee-wellness** frameworks (such as EEOC, ADA, and GINA
  considerations) — a **different regime** than patient HIPAA. Veridian Motion
  is **HIPAA-aligned, not HIPAA-certified**; this portal does **not** claim HIPAA
  certification or any other compliance certification for staff programs.

## Our approach

| **Non-diagnostic**                  | Movement guidance, self-tracking, and **referral to human support** — does **not** diagnose or provide therapy through the app        |
| **Human support when needed**       | Escalation paths point to **people** (EAP, occupational health, supervisors per policy) — not AI clinical or psychological assessment |

## What it includes

* **Injury prevention** and movement hygiene for demanding shift work
* **Mobility and recovery** content aligned with physical-therapy principles
* **Shift-recovery** routines staff can use off duty
* **Stress-resilience** self-help — general wellness education, **not** AI
  emotional assessment or mood screening

## What it explicitly is not

* **Not** patient care or a substitute for the patient portal workflow
* **Not** a psychiatric, psychological, or behavioral-health **assessment**
  product — and **not** an AI that evaluates a person's emotional or mental state
* **Not** a promise of specific health outcomes or dollar savings
* **Not** mandatory monitoring of individual officers by facility leadership
