# Precision Rehab

> Self-directed MSK rehab — 10-lesson course, guided practice with after-treatment decision tree, Understand education, PT review.

# Precision Rehab

**Precision Rehab** is a feature-flagged program for **self-directed
musculoskeletal rehab** based on a licensed PT's method. It is **educational and
non-diagnostic**. A **PT review panel** surfaces session outcomes for human
review.

Patients can also start a [Neck check-in](/veridian-motion/neck-check-in) from
this program (**Start a new assessment**).

  Controlled by **`PRECISION_REHAB_ENABLED`**. Facility access also requires an
  active [program entitlement](/veridian-motion/programs-and-licensing) and
  patient enrollment. **Built / rolling out** on synthetic (pre-production)
  data — confirm activation for your deployment.

## Course (10 lessons)

The course now begins with a first lesson, **Knowing the anatomical map**
(bony landmarks and the neck muscle map, from the program's clinical lead).
The full course is **10 lessons**, with quick checks and a course check before
guided practice unlocks.

## Guided practice (end of Course)

**Guided practice** — step-by-step self-release with a before/after **0–10**
rating — sits at the **end of the Course** and **unlocks after the course check
is passed**. There is **no separate Self-rehab tab**.

### After-treatment decision tree (deterministic, server-side, no AI)

| Outcome                  | System behavior                                                                     |

| **Better but not gone**  | Flagged for **PT review** (new vs. long-term; keep going or adjust)                 |

| **Worse**                | A short check separates ordinary post-treatment **soreness** from **warning signs** |

**Warning signs** (any one): numbness; tingling; electrical or shooting pain;
marked swelling or bruising; sharp joint pain; harder to move; fever, chills, or
feeling unwell.

## Understand tab

**Understand** provides education **by body part**. **Neck** is live; other
regions are coming soon (Roadmap).

## Posture photos

The posture photo step can be **skipped** when a camera isn't available. The
assessment continues without photos.

## PT review panel

On the patient page, clinicians see:

* Each session's **outcome**
* Any **warning signs**
* A **needs PT decision** cue when the decision tree flags review
* Space for review notes

## Offline capability

Rehab content is designed to work on a facility's **locked network** without
external API calls where it matters for session continuity.

## What it is not

* **Not a diagnosis** or therapy substitute for hands-on care
* **Not** AI emotional or behavioral-health assessment
* **Not** clinically proven / IRB-approved claims
