# Terms & patient consent

Patients accept **Terms & Policies** at **first login** before using the
portal. Acceptance is required, versioned, and timestamped.

<Note>
  Current builds are **pre-production / synthetic-data**. Terms are versioned
  for demo and pilot readiness; counsel finalization is tracked internally and
  must complete before real-PHI use.

## First-login acceptance

## Non-diagnostic disclaimers

Plain-language **non-diagnostic** disclaimers appear throughout the product,
including:

* **Registration / first login**
* **Per-suggestion** surfaces (e.g., AI plan and program guidance context for
  clinicians/patients as applicable)
* **Footer** reminders on patient and staff surfaces

The product **does not diagnose**. Educational and triage content organizes the
patient's own data; licensed clinicians retain review authority for clinical
materials.
